Behind Cocoshalom-

Chloe Purpero Johnson

Local Nature Photographer & Beeswax Candle Maker, Jessica Wolfer

Jess started Hike & Heal CT a few years back, as a way to bring people together in an outdoor setting- -to explore and move through nature as we reflect on the various impacts of anxiety on our lives. Her hope is that the images serve as a momentary disconnection from the day-to-day, and transport you to someplace a bit more magical.

As a visual person she is not a huge fan of wasting words- she prefers to snap a photo and let it do the talking.  She is a nature-lover and prefers being outside, honing in on her photography skills.  Although recently she also started Upcycled Candles CT, dedicated to reducing consumer waste by refilling used candle vessels with natural soy and beeswax.

Local Ceramic Artist
Brian R. Jones

Raised in the suburbs of Syracuse, NY Brian was drawn to art as a kid and teenager. Calvin and Hobbes and Richard Scarry books were early influences. He started working with clay as an undergraduate at Alfred University and by his second semester in ceramics it became a calling. He earned his MFA from Southern Methodist University and has been all over the country teaching workshops as a visiting artist and setting up at a variety of craft shows.

He lives on the Connecticut Shoreline with his family.

No matter what he's involved in at a given moment- in the back of his mind he is always thinking about pots.

They are a constant hum.
