Sal de Menorca
The flor de Sal in the Salinas de la Concepción crystallizes and dries only thanks to the wind and the sun. It is harvested by hand without the use of machinery or fossil fuels.
It provides numerous mineral salts and trace elements such as magnesium, potassium, calcium and iron. Its delicate crystallisation process allows it to dissolve quickly, offering an extraordinary and balanced mild salty flavour.
The packaging is plastic-free and complies with sustainable production guidelines. It is fully recyclable and is manufactured entirely in Spain.
The salt-making tradition of the island of Menorca dates back to the 14th century. In 1303, Dalmau Sagarriga, royal lieutenant of the Kingdom of Mallorca, declared that the collection of salt for personal use would be free on the island of Menorca.
