The famous sea salt from Guérande has been harvested for more than 2000 years by Breton salt farmers in the old-fashioned way. The salt fields consist of grayish-blue clay. It releases important minerals and trace elements into the fleur de sel and gives this Atlantic sea salt its unique grayish color and incomparable taste. Tips for use: Guérande sea salt is a table salt with a marked salinity and is suitable for most dishes. Due to its high residual humidity, it is only suitable for the salt mill under certain conditions.
